The OSE was contracted by the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) to conduct research, which resulted in the 17th edition of this edited volume. It features external scholars (Sergio Fabbrini, Anke Hassel and Bettina Wagner) as well as OSE and ETUI contributors.
With a look into varied fields of enquiry such as the immigration crisis, the tackling of long-term unemployment, occupational health and safety as well as the impact of the crisis on fundamental rights, the contributors to this research project present a thorough analysis of the main social developments that took place in Europe during the year 2015. The book ends with a chronology of the key events in European social policy. The entire volume (which exists in English and French) can be downloaded for free.
