In digitalisation social partners trust. The impact of digitalisation on job quality and social dialogue in the public services in Finland
DIGIQU@LPUB project, OSE Paper Series, Research Paper No. 54, July 2023, 57p.
This Research Paper presents the Finnish case study of the comparative European Commission-funded ‘DIGIQU@LPUB’ project examining the impact of digitalisation on job quality and social dialogue in electricity, public administration and healthcare. In Finland, public administration employees have the most positive views on digitalisation, followed by healthcare employees. The electricity sector features the least positive attitudes. Within each sector, people are more negative about the personal impacts of digitalisation than other societal impacts. Social partners have a shared vision: since the most important digital changes are happening in workplaces, labour market institutions must be at the forefront of developing policy tools to support change.
