Crise de la COVID-19 dans l’Union européenne : les dispositifs nationaux de soutien aux PME et leurs travailleurs et le rôle du dialogue social

The COVID-19 pandemic has had very serious economic and social repercussions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), businesses particularly active in the sectors hardest-hit by the crisis. Due to the scale of the disaster, the EU and the Member States introduced a varied range of temporary or more permanent arrangements to cushion the impact on individuals and on the economy. This OSE Briefing Paper (available in French) reviews the measures taken in the EU Member States to provide economic support to SMEs and to support their workers. It also looks at the role played by social dialogue and the social partners in the design and implementation of these various measures.
