As part of the follow-up to the European Commission’s 'New Start' initiative on work-life balance challenges faced by working parents and carers, the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) asked the OSE to provide a brief overview of measures in the Member States in this area.
The focus is on parental leave and carers’ leave, as well as flexible working arrangements schemes within the EU. The Country sheets should serve as a tool to support ETUC and other stakeholders who are lobbying for the adoption of a Directive on work-life balance. OSE researcher involved in this project: Dalila Ghailani.
